On the 21-st may of 2015 At the Faculty of Psychology the Sub-department of psychological theory and methods of practical psychology conducted the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical Internet-conference of young scientists and students. More than 100 participants took part at the conference.

May 21, 2015 within Ukrainian-Polish Academic Cooperation the Pomeranian Academy delegation of Slupsk (Poland), headed by vice-rector for International Relations, Professor Zbigniew Osadovskym, visited South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushinsky.

During the visit the parties discussed implementation details signed in early 2015 between universities cooperation agreements.

The Pomeranian Academy is the highest state institution of Poland; has a rich 40-year experience of training teaching staff; located 18 km from the Baltic coast in the ancient city of Slupsk. Currently, the Academy has three faculties: history and philology, mathematics and science, pedagogy and philosophy. Training is carried out in bachelor and master in specialties: Polish and Russian philology, history, education, art education within music. Bachelor programs in Polish universities can be trained in specialties: English and German philology, political science, physics, engineering physics, computer science, engineering, public health, philosophy, sociology, social work and others.

May 18, 2015 at the Faculty of musical and choreographic education of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D.Ushinsky a creative meeting with teachers, students and Professor of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (Israel) Tatiana Efimovna Vendrova, a musicologist, a researcher of problems of musical education of children, the author of "Let the music sound", "Music Education", a musical play "The country music wizards" and a number of scientific articles in the field of music pedagogy was held. Teachers and students with great interest listened to the lecture on the topic "Methods of perceptions intensification of modern music students" and learned about the basic aspects of musical education in Israel and actively participated in improvised music. The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

May 15, 2015 at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushinsky a communication training to improve unity was held. The participants were the 4-year students of the Faculty of Psychology.

The purpose of the training was to promote the development of mutual trust, forming skills of group interaction, improving skills to communicate constructively in a unified team.

The training took place in a friendly and harmonious atmosphere.

The official opening of the Confucius Institute of the “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” was held on May 11, 2012. Attending the ceremony were representatives from the Office of Chinese National Education of Heilongjiang Province, the General Consul of China in Odessa, Harbin Engineering University, and other distinguished guests

The graduation ceremony for the International Students of the “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” was held on May 28, 2012. The graduates were congratulated by the General Consul of Turkey in Odessa, Mr. Huseyin Ergani; the Vice-Rector for International Relations, A. M. Ananiev; and the Head of International Department of the University S. V. Skorokhod, among others.

On October 3^rd, the “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” held a concert dedicated to the founding of the People’s Republic of China on October 1, 1949.  Attending the concert were representatives from the Chinese Consulate in Odessa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Rector of the University, as well as many teachers and students. The concert was produced by the Institute of Art and featured Chinese singers and dancers.  We congratulate all of our Chinese students on this important day of recognition!

The deputy of Litva Seim and the representative of the Republic of Lithuania to the Council of Europe, Egidijus Vareikis, visited the “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky” on November 30^th. During his visit, he held a seminar entitled "Ukraine-Lithuania: A New Geopolitical Strategy". Egidijus Vareikis drew the parallels between 2 countries in some aspects of a history of Ukrainian and Lithuanian countries’ development, their strategy purposes, economic and social realities.
