June 22, 2017 Rector Academician O. Ya. Chebykin as the Vice President of the International Association of European Rectors participated in the Third International Forum "Dawn of Europe": perspectives of civilization development, consular practices, which was held in Kyiv. 

June 20, 2017, the faculty members of the department of mathematics and methods of its teaching met with their colleagues from Poland and the Czech Republic working on IRNet, an international research project on the study and development of new tools and methods for advanced pedagogical science based on ICT, e-learning and intercultural competences (International Research Network for the study and development of new tools and methods for advanced pedagogical science in the fields of ICT tools, e-learning and intercultural competences. The project coordinator, Eugenia Trybulska, informed about the goal, tasks and results of the project on a team of scientists from Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and other countries. The participants of the project, Anna Zafranska-Haidzika, Andrzej Zurec and Barbara Hrabovska, talked about the subjects of their research within the framework of this project.

Our choreography students took the 1st place at the 3rd All-Ukrainian competition "Constellation of the Sea - the Sun, Youth, Beauty", which took place within the framework of the International Constellation - 2017 Project. During the competition three choreographic compositions were performed: "Hopak", "Ukrainian frame", "Gypsy dance". Students received the highest evaluation of the jury and applause of the audience for the performance of the Ukrainian dance "Hopak". A bright holiday was the Gala Concert, which took place in the hall of the Odessa Philharmonic.

The student of the Faculty of Music and Choreography Alina Padalka received the title of the first degree laureate at the International Music Competition FORTISSIMO - 2017 (Kharkiv-Genichesk, June 14-16). The competition has been held already for 14 years and has its own traditions. It is considered to be complex, as it involves participation in 3 rounds. The members of the jury are representatives of Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine.
