Congratulations on the 200th anniversary of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University
As part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky there was held the traditional international congress "Global problems of teacher education in the university space". It was attended not only by Ukrainian specialists, but also by guests from Georgia, Israel, America, Japan, Estonia, Belarus and other countries.
On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Ushynsky University the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Mykhailivna Hrynevych met with lecturers and students.
May 18, 2017 Ukraine celebrates the day of the national embroidered shirt, or Vyshyvanka. Lecturers, graduate students and students of the department of political science and law joined this event. In addition, all were dressed according to the theme of the holiday, the Center for Social and Political Studies "POLITICUS" held the event dedicated to the Ukrainian embroidery from antiquity to the present.
The Chairman of the Regional Council Anatoliy Urbansky met with the Candidate of Historical Sciences, the Head of the Department "History of Ukraine" at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky Andriy Krasnozhon. During the meeting it was about the archaeological expedition to the territory of Akkerman fortress (headed by the Candidate of Historical Sciences Irina Teslenko) created by the decision of the Director of the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Victor Chabay.
May 7-13, 2017 the Department of Information Technology and Methods of Teaching Natural Sciences at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky within the European program "Erasmus +" hosted lecturers from the Lithuanian College of Business in Vilnius - Violeta Yadhevichene (PhD) and Hitanu Vilchynskayte (PhD). Violeta Yadhevichene, the Head of the Department of Computer Science, delivered a lecture for students of the 1st and 3d years of study Physics and Mathematics on "Methods of creating projects in the economic and social spheres." During classes Ukrainian students also learned about the educational system of Lithuania.
