On September 20, 2022, the traditional annual charity marathon "Journey through the country, united Ukraine" was held, in which more than 50 students of pre-university and higher vocational education institutions took part. The distance of the race from Shevchenko Park through the Health Route to Arcadia was five and a half kilometers, where along the route participants were waiting for signs with the names of all the cities of Ukraine, marking the unification of Ukraine and emphasizing the unity of the nation.

On September 16, for students, studying under the educational and professional program "Public Management and Administration" at Ushynsky University, within the framework of the study of the discipline "South of Ukraine and Regional Policy" a guest lecture-round table was held on the topic "The Ukrainian Black Sea Region as a Social System".

Ushynsky" held the regular XIV scientific and practical conference "Adaptive Possibilities of Children and Youth". On September 1, the new academic year began at Ushynsky University and a meeting of the staff and students was held. By the decision of the international ergonomics organization FPE (https://www.ergofoundation.org/news/88-gregory-bedny-wins-2022-fpe-ergonomics-practitioner-of-the-year) Ukrainian-American scientist, graduate of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky (Odesa), doctor of psychology, professor Hryhoriy Bydnyi whas been recognized as the best scientist-practitioner of 2022 for his significant contribution to the development of modern ergonomics.
