Within weeks of Germany in Ukraine there was held a contest "Music unites us!" in Odesa for the best performance of works by German composers. The competition was held by the the Bavarian House (Odesa). Among the winners there is a significant number of students of the faculty of music and choreography. The International television festival-contest "Ukrainian unison" was held in Kyiv. The victory in the category "Academic singing" received students of the faculty of music and choreography Hou Kai – first prize and Chen Ilin - second prize, class of associate professor N.O. Roytenko, accompanist Elena Dovgan.
