Presentation of the book "Cernighiv at War - 2022: Voices of Eyewitnesses"

On September 26, students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography attended the presentation of the book "Chernihiv at War - 2022: Voices of Eyewitnesses", which took place in the Odesa National Scientific Library. The pages of the book record evidence of the courageous resistance of the people of Chernihiv and the indomitability of the city from the first day of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine. The book contains 24 interviews with residents of the Chernihiv region who survived the occupation. The uniqueness of this book lies in the fact that QR codes are placed on its pages, by which you can listen to the collected interviews of eyewitnesses, and on the cover you can see fragments of their diaries. Kateryna Lytvyn, PhD in History, was the initiator of the expedition research: "We asked people not about war stories, but about their feelings, what they dreamed about on the eve of the war, whether they were preparing for it, what they collected in an alarming suitcase, if they collected it, the first feelings or where did they hear that a full-scale war had begun.' During the presentation, leading scientists and representatives of the authorities of Chernihiv V. G. Kushnir, the Dean of the Faculty of History and Philosophy, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, N. O. Petrova, PhD in History, Associate Professor, gave speeches. Also within the framework of the event was presented the book exhibition "Shooted Spring - 2022: Experience and Tell", the exposition of which was made up of modern publications covering the initial period of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine and the heroic resistance of our defenders to the occupiers.
We are proud of the indomitability of Ukrainians! Together to victory!
