Associate Professor of History of Ukraine V. Chumak in the team Odesa-65 + won at the XIV International Tournament volleyball veterans, it was held in Lviv 27-28 February 2015. It named the best forward of the tournament among players of its age and joined the team Omega Ukraine 65+, which will represent Ukraine at the European Masters Games in Nice (France) in October 2015.

February 17, 2015 General Consulate of the Chinese Republic in Odesa together with the educational and cultural center "Confucius Institute" of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D.Ushinsky organized a festive event dedicated to the Chinese New Year. The ceremony took place in the golden hall of the Odesa State literary museum.

The new victories began in 2015 at the Faculty of Physical Education and choreography. Thus, at the International Competition of vocalists in Prague (Czech Republic) the prize and the title of laureate received a Master of Music Chuen Lee, the winner of the contest was a student of the 2nd year Catherine Prylyepina (class of Associate Professor N. Roytenko).

The University students are prize-winners of the VII International Creative Festival in Harbin (China).

January 31, 2015 at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D.Ushinsky there was a training on career guidance. The participants were graduates of secondary schools of Odesa.

The purpose of the training was to inform students regarding psychological classifications of occupations obtaining meaningful information on career guidance. All training participants identified their professional attitudes and built a scheme of personal and professional choices. Graduates also have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all areas of training, which the University provides. The training took place in a friendly and harmonious atmosphere.

The Pomeranian Academy is the highest state institution of Poland; has a rich 40-year experience of training teaching staff; located 18 km from the Baltic coast in the ancient city of Slupsk. Currently, the Academy has three faculties: history and philology, mathematics and science, pedagogy and philosophy. Training is carried out in bachelor and master in specialties: Polish and Russian philology, history, education, art education within music.
