September 25, 2015 in the city garden of Odessa Educational and Cultural Center "The Confucius Institute" a solemn event "International Day of Confucius Institutes" was held, which was attended by students and teachers of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky, teachers and students of leading educational institutions, representatives of the Chinese Diaspora, media and students of Chinese language courses, students from Odessa universities, guests and residents of South Palmyra.

September 23-25, 2015 the first international scientific conference "Adaptive learning management technology" was held.

September 11, 2015 in the exhibition hall of the Odessa regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine a grand opening of diploma works of Arts and Graphics students was held. This year the Faculty celebrates its 50^th anniversary. It trains teachers of fine and decorative arts.

September 9, 2015 at the House of Scientists the exhibition of paintings "Odessa and Odessits" was presented and devoted to the Day of the city. Among them are the works of Galina Meshcheryakova, Alexander Silantiev, Dmitry Karzhavin, Tetiana Bordyuzha, Sergiy Jean. Each of the artists in their own unique, each with its own vision and technique. Their works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

On the eve of Israel New Year in Odessa the days of Israel and Jewish culture were held.

The Department of theory and methodology of physical culture and sport disciplines, the Department of training of the State institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" provide the organization and conduct training courses for professionals in physical education working as sports coaches;

In June 2015 the European Union announced an additional (second) competition for the training credit mobility (internships, study, training, teaching) between institutions of the Member and Partner countries of Erasmus+.
