On January 31, 2025, the successful defense of the dissertation of Andrii Bakhmetyev, a postgraduate student of the Department of Political Sciences and Law, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in specialty 052 Political Science on the topic “Electoral Technologies in Ukraine: Specifics of Application and Development Trends” was held at Ushynsky University on the Zoom platform. The scientific supervisor is Svitlana Ivanivna Rostetskaya, Doctor of Political Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Sciences and Law.

On January 31, 2025, an orientation conference for applicants of the first and second levels of higher education was held at the Department of Political Science and Law of Ushynsky University, dedicated to the issues of organizing and completing internships.

On January 30, 2024, a joint meeting of the Academic Council and the conference of the labor collective of the K. D. Ushinsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University was held in the assembly hall, at which the Rector, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Andrii Krasnozhon reported on the implementation of the contract and the achievement of the University's target indicators for 2024.

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between Care Caucasus and the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky", with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, an important educational project is being implemented from February to May 2025. Its goal is to support Ukrainian refugee students in Georgia by preparing for the National Multi-Subject Testing (NMT).

On January 29, a solemn graduation ceremony was held for graduates of Ushynsky University, who completed a master's degree in specialty 073 "Management", educational and professional program "Management of an Educational Institution". The rector of the University, Andrii Krasnozhon, personally presented diplomas to future education managers.

On January 29, 2025, the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of Ushynsky University held a festive event "Chinese New Year - Year of the Green Wood Snake", which was attended by Rector Andrii KRASNOZHON, representatives of the student council and higher education students.
