On May 17, 2024, the webinar "Psychorehabilitation of military personnel and their family members: Ukrainian experience" was held online on the Teams platform.

As part of the All-Ukrainian mental health program "How are you?", which was initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, on May 16, 2024, the event "Ukraine is an indomitable family" was held in the assembly hall of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky". It was also possible to join the event online.

On May 17, 2024, to the Day of Science, an open guest lecture on the topic "Scientific foundations of physical culture and sports: modernity, past, future" was held for students of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels in specialty 014.11 Secondary education (Physical culture) of the educational and scientific institute of physical culture, sports and rehabilitation.

On May 17, 2024, to the Day of Science, a guest lecture "Using a complex of online services in teaching mathematics to junior high school students" was held, initiated by the Department of Mathematics and its Teaching Methods of the Faculty of Primary Education of Ushynsky University.

Every year, on the third Thursday of May, Ukrainians celebrate Vyshyvanka Day.

During February-March 2024, the first round of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in fields of knowledge and specialties was successfully held at Ushynsky University. 

Vyshyvanka is a national shrine that symbolizes and carries within itself spiritual wealth, high wisdom and the traditional connection of many generations, which is not interrupted by the ages.
