On October 16, 2024, to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, which is celebrated on October 1, Professor Natalya Gedikova Professor of the department, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Associate Professor of the Department, and Inna Pronoza, PhD in Political Sciences, Associate Professor, organized in the mixed format of the information and communication event "Triune Front: heroes, volunteers, educators - unity for victory" at the Department of Political Sciences and Law of Ushynsky University.

On October 16, 2024, a delegation of Ushynsky University, consisting of the Rector Andrii Krasnozhon, the First Vice-Rector for Educational and Scientific Pedagogical Work Olha KOPUS, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Oleksandra POPOVOVA, and Coordinator of the Educational Scientific, Informational and Cultural Center of the Republic of Korea Antonina PAK, visited Namseul University for the purpose of joint creation of an international platform for exchange of ideas, research, mutual enrichment and strengthening of ties between Namseul universities and Ushynsky University. The Rector of Namseul University, Mr. Yun Sangyoeng, expressed his respect to his Ukrainian colleagues for their patriotic stance and the productivity of the educational process in difficult times for Ukraine.

On October 15, an open lecture on cyber security was held at Ushynsky University. This topic is one of the most important topics in the modern world. We live in a time when digital technologies are becoming an integral part of our daily life, work and communication. They open up many opportunities for us, but at the same time they bring new challenges, among which cyber threats occupy a key position.

In an atmosphere of creativity and high spirits, a concert by students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography took place on October 12 in the Central City Library named after Ivan Franko.

Under the leadership of the school's leading trainers Lidia Kanzler and Ihor Solovii, also Yevdokia Drazina, Suzanna Ihnatenko and Andrii Bogatov, methodologists from Ushynsky University together with the students of the school held a physical culture and sports event dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine during the practice (in physical culture and health/sports institutions in the chosen sport) with the students of the 4th year of higher education at the first (bachelor) level, specialty 017 Physical culture and sport.

On October 10, 2024, a significant event took place at Ushynsky University - the grand opening of the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health.
