On October 24, 2023, an online meeting of the scientific group "Inclusion in Education" was held, which operates at the Department of Gymnastics and Martial Arts of Ushynsky University (Shchekotylina Natalya Fedorivna, the leader, PhD in Pedagogy, teacher of the Department of Gymnastics and Martial Arts).
The topic of the meeting: "Theoretical and methodological aspects of inclusion in the system of physical culture of modern education."
The urgency of implementing inclusion in education requires improving the professional training of future physical education teachers to work in an inclusive environment, since their professional functions include monitoring the child's physical and psycho-emotional state.
The participants of the scientific circle discussed the current issues of the development of inclusive education in Ukraine and the role of the physical education teacher in this process.
Participants of the problem group actively participated in the discussion about the development of the components of the professional competence of an inclusive physical education teacher.
