On November 2, 2023, the students of the first (bachelor's) educational level in specialty 53 "Psychology" of Ushynsky University visited the institution's library.
The head of the library department, Iryna Volodymyrivna Panchenko, conducted a tour and classes for first-year students on the formation of skills in searching for information in the library's resources, creating references and bibliographic lists. The applicants received invaluable experience and extremely important and useful information.
A visit to the hall with old books and manuscripts aroused special interest. The oldest book in the library was remembered for a long time.
Iryna Volodymyrivna told many interesting stories, in particular the history of the creation of the university and the library, which added a deep understanding of their significance. Students were also given visual instruction on how to use the online repository.
The acquired skills and knowledge will be extremely useful to students for writing further scientific and course works.
