On December 5, 2023, psychologists from the international humanitarian organization INTERSOS conducted the training "Psychological First Aid" for students of the Social and Humanities Faculty at Ushynsky University.
INTERSOS is an international humanitarian organization that provides assistance to victims of armed conflicts, natural disasters and extreme alienation, with a special focus on protecting the most vulnerable people.
During the training, psychologists talked about the definition and types of stress, as well as its impact on the body. Speakers shared body-oriented therapies, and in practice demonstrated breathing techniques to overcome stressful stimuli and relieve emotional tension in our body.
