Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War

On May 8, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War. This day is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Second World War. It was established in accordance with the law of Ukraine "On the Perpetuation of the Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945".
This day reminds us of the tragedies of the past that affect our present.
The red poppy, a symbol of memory, has become recognized not only in Ukraine, but also in many other countries of the world. It symbolizes loss and longing, which helps us not only honor those who died in wars, but also unites us in the pursuit of peace and reconciliation.
In the face of full-scale war, the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation serves as a reminder that peace is the most important task for every nation. It reminds us of our responsibility to future generations.
It is important to remember everyone! We remember and win!
