On May 10, 2024, to the Day of Science, an open lecture "Digital applications and tools in the teaching of natural sciences" was held, initiated by the Department of Innovative Technologies and Methods of Teaching Natural Sciences of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Informatics and Management and the Department of Physical Rehabilitation, Biology and of health care of the educational and scientific institute of physical culture, sports and rehabilitation of Ushynsky University. The event was attended by students, teachers, teachers of natural sciences, physics, mathematics, informatics of Odesa and Odesa region, Dnipro.
The speaker of the event Oleksandra Ordanovska, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Innovative Technologies and Teaching Methods of Natural Sciences, paid attention to the relevance of the issue of using digital technologies in the educational process, focused in detail on the use of immersive AR and VR technologies and demonstrated digital applications that allow these technologies to be implemented during teaching natural sciences.
