On May 11, 2024, a guest lecture on trauma therapy was held as part of the study of the discipline "Methods of psychological assistance in normal and emergency conditions" for students of the first (master's) level of higher education in specialty 053 Psychology of the EPP "Applied and Practical Psychology" full-time education. The lecture was conducted by Viktoriya Yevhenivna Malysh, psychologist, psychotherapist, teaching supervisor, senior lecturer of the Department of Practical Psychology of ONMU, head of the certification commission of the EMDR-Ukraine Association,
deputy head of the Odesa branch of the Ukrainian Union of Psychotherapists. The participants learned about the history of the emergence, the essence of the EMDR method, the mechanisms of action, indications and contraindications for therapy with this method. The lecture aroused incredible interest among the applicants and a significant number of questions, to which Victoria Yevhenivna provided extensive, comprehensive answers.
