November 7-8, 2024 The Institute of the Lithuanian Language of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Lithuania held the 5th International Conference "Dialogue of Language and Culture in Onomastics of the 21st Century" dedicated to Aleksandras Vanagas. Professor of the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Doctor of Philology. Oleksandr Ivanovych Iliadi took part in the event, giving a speech on the topic "Varia Onomastica Iranica (Danapria et Bohus)". He was also involved in the organization of the Conference, becoming a member of the scientific committee.
The conference became not only a long-awaited, but also a significant event in the European scientific world, as many topical issues of modern onomastic science were brought up for discussion, starting from the etymology and history of onyms to sociolinguistic studies of onomastic units.
