On December 6-7, in the virtual space of Ushynsky University, with the support of the Department of Ukrainian Philology and Methods of Teaching Professional Disciplines, an anniversary scientific and practical conference of young scientists “Linguistics and Linguistics: Achievements and Development Prospects” was held, dedicated to the memory of the first head of the department, Doctor of Philology, Professor V.P. Drozdovsky (1926-1994). At one time, the conference began its work with the status of interuniversity, regional, and since 2014 it has acquired the status of all-Ukrainian. Over the years of its existence, participants in the scientific event have had the opportunity to listen to plenary reports by leading Ukrainian scientists in the field of linguistics and linguodidactics.
Talented young people from different parts of Ukraine once again had the opportunity to take their first steps in science and their future professional activities, which indicates that the conference of young scientists continues to successfully fulfill its main mission - to increase the prestige of scientists and the status of the profession of educators.
