November 15, 2018, the Day of the Faculty of Foreign Languages was held at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky. The professional orientation event has been attended by high school students and teachers of secondary schools of Odesa region.
Those present have been congratulated by Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences O. V. Popova and Head of the Educational and Cultural Center "Institute of Confucius" from the Chinese side, candidate of psychological sciences Din Xin. The representatives of the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, the Department of Germanic Languages and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages, the Department of Western and Oriental Languages and methods of their teaching described the specifics of studying in the specialties "Secondary Education (Language and Literature English, Chinese, Turkish)" and "Philology. Translation from English, Chinese to Ukrainian ".
The students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages demonstrated their academic knowledge and creative abilities to the guests. Future entrants interested in different types of concert numbers - humorous scenes from students' lives, declarations of poems, Chinese, Turkish and Ukrainian popular songs, presentations of the scholarship programs of the "Confucius Institute".
