September 20 - 21, 2019, the Department of Mathematics and Methods its Teaching of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" held the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference with international participation "Succession in the teaching of mathematics in the conditions of reform of the general secondary education: reality and perspectives”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Department of Mathematics and Methods of its teaching and the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.

87 scientists from higher education institutions of Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary and Moldova, 15 students and undergraduates, 179 teachers of secondary schools of Ukraine participated in the conference. In total, 281 participants of the conference represented 11 regions of Ukraine and 4 foreign countries.

The plenary session has been attended by leading scientists who are researching the problem of teaching mathematics of elementary, primary and high school students, among whom are the authors of existing textbooks in Ukraine.

Besides the high level of scientific presentations, the participants of the conference have been united by their love for mathematics not only as an educational field, but also a special sphere of influence on the overall harmonious development of the individual, his intellectual, and in general, the professional sphere.
