On May 28, 2021, the All-Ukrainian stage of the International Competition "Chinese Language Bridge" took place remotely, in which students of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky and students of specialized classes of Confucius educational institutions, which are university partners, took part.

The competition was held under the auspices of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine. At the first stage of the competition, participants presented a video of a monologue in Chinese on the topic "My Chinese Dream". The second part of the competition involved solving complex problems in the field of linguistics and lexical and grammatical aspects of the Chinese language. In the third stage, participants demonstrated their creative abilities, talents and creative abilities in the Chinese style. It was at this stage that the jury evaluated the creativity, diligence, natural talents and awareness of the participants in the field of Chinese culture.

According to the decision of the jury, the second place was taken by Chernyavsky Konstantyn, the student of the 3rd year specialty 014 Secondary education (Language and Literature (Chinese)), the 3rd place was shared by Medynska Yana, the 3rd year student specialty 014 Secondary education (Language and Literature (Chinese)) and Zakopailo Daria, the 2nd year student specialty 035 "Philology (Oriental languages ​​and literatures (translation included (first-Chinese)))".

For active participation in the competition was awarded a student of 3 years of study specialty 035 "Philology (Oriental languages ​​and literatures (translation included (first-Chinese)))" Kyrylo Kholenkovsky.

The award for the best performance was received by the student of 3 years of study of specialty 014 Secondary education (Language and literature (Chinese)) Chernyavsky Konstantyn.

The students of the Educational and Cultural Center of the University “Confucius Institute” of Ushynsky University Shtyforuk Daria, Bilyk Daria, Varovey Maria, Salieva Margarita were awarded certificates for participation in the international competition.

This annual event allows participants not only to demonstrate their creative and educational potential while mastering a foreign language, but also to represent their country at the international stage of the competition in China.
