On June 3, 2020, Ushнnsky University hosted the annual student scientific-practical online conference "Modern challenges of socio-political development: political-legal and socio-economic dimensions", which is traditionally organized by the Center for Socio-Political Research "Politicus" and Faculty Social Sciences and Humanities.

Liang Weihun, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Music and Choreography (class of Associate Professor O. Yu. Gorozhankina), won the Grand Prix of the International Art Festival Competition "GERMAN TALENTS", which took place in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) on May 22 - June 2, 2020.

On May 30-31, 2020 Oleksandr Strazhny, a Hungarian psychotherapist, held an online seminar "Method of biosuggestive therapy" at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, which was attended by teachers of the Department of Theory and Methods of Practical Psychology, Department of General and Differential Psychology, as well as specialists of the Center for Medical and Psychological Rehabilitation, graduate students and doctoral students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

he students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography won prizes in the category "Instrumental genre (piano)" at the International Festival-Competition of Arts "FEST MUSIC 2020" (Chornomorsk). The Grand Prix was won by Kateryna Voitsutska (senior class A.I. Mamykina), the title of laureate of the first degree was awarded to Veronika Kvasnytska (class of Assoc. Prof. I.M. Levytska).
