April 10, 2017, the students and professors of the Faculty of preschool pedagogy and psychology organized a trip to Odesa specialized orphanage №1. The visit was made within the charity event "We give joy to children", which included fundraising for orphanages Odesa.

April 4, 2017, at the Faculty of preschool pedagogy and psychology of South Ukrainian national pedagogical university named after K. D. Ushynsky there was held a charity event “We Give Joy to Children”. Within the event teachers and students organized an exhibition of students' works, exhibition and sale of food products made by students and master class on quilling. The charity event was aimed at raising funds for orphanages in Odesa region.

Ushynsky there were invited graduate students of the Municipal Institution "Odesa Pedagogical College. An informative and interesting discussion on the relevance and importance of the profession of teacher of preschool children, prospects for higher preschool education, opportunities to get additional specialties.
