On February 10, a traditional online meeting on the topic "Symbol drama in the practice of working with children in a crisis or traumatic state" was held for students in the educational laboratory "Skrepka", which was created on the basis of the Department of Theory and Methods of Practical Psychology of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences.
On February 9, a solemn festive ceremony of awarding diplomas for the Master of Musical Art and Choreography took place.
This real celebration took place in the assembly hall of Ushynsky University. Graduates of specialties 024 Choreography and 025 Musical Art received their master's diplomas.
On February 6, 2026, a public defense of the dissertation of Kostyantyn Svekla, a postgraduate student of the Department of Political Science and Law, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in specialty 052 Political Science on the topic “New Political Technologies of Electoral Processes of the First Quarter of the 21st Century: Ukrainian and Foreign Experience” was held at Ushynsky University on the Zoom platform. The scientific supervisor is Tetyana Kamenchuk, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Law of Ushynsky University.
On February 6, 2026, a public defense of the dissertation of Serhiy Rutsky, a postgraduate student of the Department of Political Sciences and Law, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in specialty 052 Political Science on the topic "Information Confrontation in the Modern World Political Process in the Conditions of Digital Reality" was held at Ushynsky University on the Zoom platform. Scientific supervisor Svitlana Mykhailivna Naumkina, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Law of Ushynsky University, Full Member of the Ukrainian Academy of Political Sciences of Ukraine.
On February 5, 2026, a meeting of the Specialized Academic Board D 41.053.01 was held at Ushynsky University, during which the public defense of the dissertation of Oksana Ivanivna Chekan on the topic “Theoretical and methodological principles of the development of coherent speech of older preschool children with autism spectrum disorders by means of digitalization” was held for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences in specialties 13.00.02 - Theory and Methods of Teaching (Ukrainian Language) and 13.00.03 - Correctional Pedagogy.
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 02.02.2026 No. 141, Ushynsky University is included in the State Register of Scientific Institutions Supported by the State until December 31, 2030.
Our university held a roundtable discussion on the tasks of assistantship practice for second-level (master's) students under the EPP "Preschool Education. Management of a preschool education institution". The event brought together teachers, employers, and higher education students to update the practical training program in accordance with the requirements of the 2025/2026 academic year.
On February 2, 2026, the International Grant from the Eurasian Foundation (from Asia, Japan) launched for the third time at Ushinsky University on a new topical topic “Eurasian Educational Space: Formation and Evolution of Educational Systems of Ukraine and Asian Countries in Different Historical Periods”!
