On November 29, 2019, at the meeting of the Specialized Scientific Board Д. 41.053.06 at the State institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" there were two defenses of dissertation research for the degree of Candidate of Political Sciences, namely: O. V. Hruieva "The Newest Forms of Political Equity: An Analysis of the Political Component", I. A. Kabantseva "Anticorruption Counteraction to Public Society: the Experience of Post-Communist Countries in Central and Eastern Europe".

November 23, 2019 in Bila Tserkov Sehiy Gordiyenko, the 2d year student of the specialty "Secondary Education (Physical Education)" of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky participated in the XVII Open All-Ukrainian Junior Wrestling Tournament for the prizes of three-time Olympic champion Olexander Medved.

November 21, 2019 the students of State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" in the specialty 052 "Political Science" Ignatenko Victor (scientific supervisor of D.Sc., Prof. S.M. Naumkina) and Olexandr Tymoshenko (scientific supervisor PhD in Political Science, senior lecturer I.I. Pronoza) participated in the work of the roundtable " Human Rights: Social and Humanitarian Discourse in the Context of Reform Processes in Ukraine", which was held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. The students' reports and scientific discussion were at a high level, the young scientists worthy presented the university and their specialty.

The Department of Political Science and Law together with the Odesa Scientific and Information Center of Euro-Atlantic Cooperation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky organized an open lecture on November 18, 2019 of the Indian scientist Ms. Mridula Ghosh, an international historian and journalist Development, founder of the Tagore Center in Ukraine for the students of the specialty "Political Science" "Law", "Public Administration" on the topic "Postcolonial Gandhi Day: Relevant for Ukraine".
