On December 18, the students majoring in "Public Management and Administration", members of the scientific circle in the named specialty Serafyma Havrylenko (4th year) and Bohdan Hladky (3rd year) visited the municipal institution of the Odesa City Council "Grant Office Odesa 5T".

On December 12, 2025, a professional (scientific) seminar was held, during which Andriy Boshkov, a third-year postgraduate student in the educational and scientific program "Philology", presented the results of his dissertation research on the topic: "English-language verbalization of the concept "PANDEMIC" in scientific and MAC-media discourse". The report highlighted the main theoretical and methodological principles of the work, key provisions of scientific novelty, as well as the practical significance of the results obtained for modern philological science.

Today, Ushynsky University hosted a public defense of the dissertation research of Fan Peisi, a postgraduate student of the Department of Pedagogy, on the topic: “Formation of a culture of predictive activity of future teachers of musical art using reflective technologies” in specialty 011 Educational and Pedagogical Sciences for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The scientific supervisor of the research is Professor T. I. Koycheva, guarantor of the educational and scientific program 011 Educational and Pedagogical Sciences.

Today, the successful defense of the dissertation research of Wang Xiaogang, a postgraduate student of the Department of Pedagogy, took place at Ushynsky University on the topic: "Forming a culture of predictive activity of future teachers of music art using reflective technologies."

On December 12, the students of the specialty "Public Management and Administration" - participants of the project "Organization of the Work of a Local Council Deputy" attended the last session of the Odesa City Council this year. The key decision is the adoption of the Odesa budget for 2026.

On December 11, 2025, in accordance with the work plan of Ushynsky University on the implementation of European integration measures in the educational process for the students of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of the specialty "Special Education", scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education Olha Forostyan, Head of the Department, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor; Hanna Sokolova, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine; Iryna Orlenko, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor, held a round table "European Experience of Social Inclusion: Challenges and Opportunities for Training Special Education Specialists in Ukraine".

On December 10, 2025, a working meeting was held with the labor collective, at which key issues regarding the internal organization of the structural unit were discussed. During the event, topical issues of the educational process, prospects for the development of the institute, scientific activities and strengthening team interaction were discussed. The participants had the opportunity to express their suggestions, share their experience and vision for further improvement of work.
