Students of Ushynsky University as part of the national team of Ukraine successfully performed on December 8-9, 2021 at the karate competitions "Karate 1 Youth League Venice 2021" and "Venice Cup 2021", which took place in Venice, Italy. High sports results showed:

1. Fedorov Yaroslav in the category of junior kata male (73 athletes) - 2nd place; in the category kata individual male shito ryu style - 1 place;

2. Yervachova Daria in the junior kumite male category - 2nd place;

3. Janowski David - in the category of junior kumite male took 7th place.

The road to victory is always difficult. We wish our students confidence, determination and desire to win.

On December 10-12, 2021, the Cup of Ukraine in Mixed Martial Arts MMA of Ukraine 2021 was held in Zaporizhia. Athletes from 16 regions and 38 clubs of Ukraine took part in the competition. The student of Ushynsky University Maxim Afanasyev, who won in the weight category "men 52.2 kg", as a member of the national team of Odesa region.

On December 13, 2021, representatives of The LEGO Foundation in Ukraine visited Ushynsky University. Oksana Roma, Head of Educational Initiatives, Olena Shulyak and Olena Cherevychna, trainers of the company, met with the Rector of the University Andriy Krasnozhon, during which an agreement was reached to establish a working group to further promote the project in the university.

On December 9, 2021, a distance guest lecture on the subject "Child Psychology" was organized and held for the students of the 1st (bachelor's) level of higher education in specialty 012 Preschool Education of Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University. Oleksiy Anatoliyovych Lystopad, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky, became a guest lecturer. The lecture was devoted to a topical issue - "Development of professional creativity of future educators of preschool education."

Dear teachers and students! The Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature of Ushнnsky University has prepared for publication a collection of articles and abstracts " Multifacetedness in the works of Lesya Ukrainka" based on the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the writer.

Congratulations to the Women's Choir “Academy”,Faculty of Music and Choreography, Ushynsky University, and its art directors with the victory: Lesnik O.S., PhD in Pedagogy, Senior Lecturer, and G. Kovaleva, Lecturer, on the victory.

On December 3, 2021 research and teaching staff of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, students of various levels (students, masters, postgraduate students) majoring in 033 Philosophy and students of the 2nd year of history and philology of Ushynsky University took part in All-Ukrainian philosophical readings "Philosophy and Culture in the Narratives of Modernity" (on the occasion of the World Philosophy Day (UNESCO)), which was organized in Dnipro.
