On December 23, 2020 a round table was held on the topic: "Ukraine and the world: results of 2020" with the participation of teachers of the Department of Political Science and Law (Prof. Naumkina S.M., Prof. Gedikova N.P., Assoc. Prof. Rostetska S.I. ., senior lecturer, Pronoza I.I.) and the applicants for higher education 1-4 years of study specialty 052 "Political Science" of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after  K.D. Ushynsky".

On December 21, 2020, the State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky” hosted an information meeting “Innovative classrooms” within the project of the EU ERASMUS + program “MoPED - Modernization of higher pedagogical education using innovative teaching tools” (№586098- EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).

We thank Anna Stepanova, a lecturer of Ushynsky University, for her dedicated creative work and personal creative contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture. Congratulations to the students of the saxophone class of the University Mykhailo Shemet and Van Weige, who won gold in the international competition "A galaxy of winners" (Kyiv).

The students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography, an instrumental duo consisting of Di Tianchao (percussion instruments, class of Candidate of Art History Ralo G.A.) and Zhuang Xin (piano, associate Professor Gorozhankina O.Yu.) became winners of the 1st prize at the International Music Competition and Festival academic vocal "Golden Lyre" in Dnipro. Congratulations on your victory and we wish you good health, creative inspiration and new creative achievements!

On December 18, 2020, the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” held a regional selection round of the XX All-Ukrainian competition "Chinese Language Bridge" in the Southern Region, which was attended by the students and lecturers of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky and Chinese languages ​​and cultures.

On December 17, 2020, a working meeting of the lecturers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky with the representatives of Northern Illinois University (NIU) (Chicago, USA) took place online. The parties discussed possible ways of cooperation between higher education institutions in the field of education and science, in particular the implementation in the spring of 2021 of the program of international academic mobility (using remote technologies). This form of cooperation will include lectures and seminars by leading professors of partner universities, joint work of students in pairs and small groups during the implementation of educational projects and tasks, etc.

On December 16, 2020, within the framework of academic mobility, a lecture was given by Professor of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Olga Volodymirivna Lobova for the applicants for the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in the specialty 014 Secondary Education (Music).
