On October 9, 2025, the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health of Ushynsky University gathered the student, academic and professional community for a unique event - an open meeting with Olha Litvinenko, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, psychotherapist, analytical psychologist, member of the Board of the World Association for Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP).

On October 10, 2025, the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky will host an interactive event “Year of Care and Support” dedicated to World Mental Health Day.

Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Law Serhiі Leonidovych Derevyankin was awarded the distinction of the Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces "South" for his significant contribution to the protection of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, dedication and resilience, active public position and provision of comprehensive assistance on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. On October 2, 2025, the results of the scientific certification of higher education institutions and scientific institutions in the areas of "Natural and Mathematical Sciences" and "Engineering and Technical Sciences" were summed up. Ushynsky University was certified in one of these areas - natural and mathematical sciences.

On October 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM, a practical webinar for administration, teachers and students was held online, dedicated to fundraising in the field of formal education in the EU. The event was held in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science and within the framework of the plan for integrating the European dimension into the educational process and the topics of scientific research of the university for 2025.
