December 9-10, 2019 a delegation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky as a part of pro-rector for international relations and scientific and pedagogical work of the complex of A.M. Ananyev and co-directors of the Confucius Institute Educational and Cultural Center O.V. Popova and Tsun Chenjiu participated in the International Conference of Confucius Institutes in Changsha (People's Republic of China).

On December 4, a sports holiday was held in honor of the Armed Forces Day of Ukraine. Dormitory teams took part in the celebration. The first place was won by a team of dormitory #4.

A VISIT OF STUDENTS OF THE 1ST YEAR OF STUDY IN THE SPECIALTY 081 LAW TO THE CENTER OF JUVENILE PROBATION OF ODESA

On December 4, students of the first year of study in the specialty 081 Law together with the assistant of the Department of Political Science S.L. Shvets made a visit to the Juvenile Probation Center in Odesa and took part in Doors Open Day. The students had an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the center, to pass a series of legal quests, as well as to improve and deepen their knowledge on combating domestic violence, trafficking in human beings and others. The freshmen communicated with the students of the 4th year of study n the specialty 081 Law of Ushynsky University, who are volunteers of the Center and help its staff.

Meeting of the Specialized Scientific Board Д. 41.053.06

On November 29, 2019, at the meeting of the Specialized Scientific Board Д. 41.053.06 at the State institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" there were two defenses of dissertation research for the degree of Candidate of Political Sciences, namely: O. V. Hruieva "The Newest Forms of Political Equity: An Analysis of the Political Component", I. A. Kabantseva "Anticorruption Counteraction to Public Society: the Experience of Post-Communist Countries in Central and Eastern Europe".

November 15-29, 2019 the competitions were held within the framework of the 27th regional student games among universities in Odesa.

On November 28, 2019, the Department of Gymnastics and Martial Arts of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation of Ushynsky University under the guidance of the NOC of Ukraine in Odesa region held a seminar "Sports Psychology: Mental Training".

Ushynsky University student wins the freestyle wrestling tournament

November 23, 2019 in Bila Tserkov Sehiy Gordiyenko, the 2d year student of the specialty "Secondary Education (Physical Education)" of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky participated in the XVII Open All-Ukrainian Junior Wrestling Tournament for the prizes of three-time Olympic champion Olexander Medved.
