On September 29, 2020, the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” celebrated the International Day of Confucius Institutes at the Odesa Summer Theater, which was attended by students and teachers of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky, as well as Chinese language students.

The Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology of Ushynsky University had a festive atmosphere all week. Students congratulated teachers and staff of the Faculty on the holiday, thanking them for the invaluable knowledge and wisdom they pass on to the future generation of educators, for professional achievements that constantly help to improve preschool education in Ukraine; wished inspiration, good mood and a peaceful sky above your head.

On September 23-25, 2020, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky hosted VIth International Conference on Adaptive Learning Management Technologies, organized by the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, headed by Professor Tetyana Leonidivna Mazurok. This year the conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Ushynsky University.

During August-September 2020, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky held advanced training courses under the program "Academic integrity and scientific communication of teachers in the digital age" in the amount of 90 hours (3 ECTS credits), organized by the Regional Information resource center for professional development of managers and specialists in the field of socionomics and the Library of Ushynsky University.

Professor of the University of Hamburg, Head of the Hamburg School of Psychology of Human Communications and Mediation, Olexander Redlich, was invited as a guest lecturer at the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration of Ushynsky University. "Conflict coaching and mediation in society and business" for applicants to the Department in the specialties 073 "Management" (OPP "Management of educational institutions"). Students of the specialties 281 "Public Administration", 081 "Law", 052 "Political Science", teachers of Ushynsky University also listened to the lecture.

On September 21, 2020, the first meeting of the initiative group for the development of Core values  took place at Ushynsky University. The group included students of 2-3 courses of the specialties "Law" and "Political Science" (Ignatenko V., Tymoshenko O., Gladka V., Shaklanova A., Petruk Yu., Vasilchenko S., etc.), which are based on best practices of universities in the world and Ukraine and will develop a draft of Core values that will become an ethical constitution of behavior of all participants in the educational process at the University. Scientific and methodological support of the document creation process is provided by the University Law Clinic. The project will be presented to the student community in early October, after which a mandatory public discussion procedure will take place on the official website of the university.

The Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky  took part in the Museum.Fest, which took place for the first time in Ukraine and for the first time in Odesa! Thus, on September 19-20, 2020, the Confucius Institute Green Theater of Ushynsky University congratulated Odesa residents and guests of the city on the 5th anniversary theater season, which was visited by representatives of dozens of museums from all over the country to show, surprise and inspire with their grand exhibitions, modern interactivities for children and adults.
