October 12, 2019, representatives of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” hosted workshops on hieroglyphics and Chinese tea traditions. October 7-9, 2019 the team of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky participated in the inter-university chess competitions. As a result, the athletes of Ushynsky University has taken the 2nd place, and the men's team has won the 1st place. Congratulations on your victory!

The first Sunday in October is considered a national holiday in Ukraine. All employees of the educational field are honored on this day because there is no person who would not have a teacher. On October 2, 2019, the students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography congratulated their teachers on a professional holiday. Many students have joined in the greetings and wished teachers good health, inexhaustible creative strength, happiness and inspiration, courage and patience, as education and learning has never been an easy task. The festive concert, prepared by the students of the faculty, became a real gift for teachers and all present.
October 2, 2019, at the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, a celebration of the International Day of Preschool Workers and the Day of Education Workers of Ukraine took place. With the assistance of the dean's office, a festive concert has been organized by the academic community, as well as a solemn dedication of freshmen to the students of the faculty.
October 1, 2019 students of the specialty 222 Medicine had a meeting with Academician of the NAPS of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences (Psychology), Professor, Honored worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine Aleksij Yakovych Chebykin. The meeting took place in the conference hall of the main building of Ushynsky University.
October 1, 2019 students and curators of specialty 017 Physical Culture and Sports had an educational hour "Hybrid War in Ukraine" dedicated to Defender of Ukraine Day (October 14), held by ATO participant Dmytro Koltsun.
From September 30 to October 1, 2019, table tennis competitions took place at Ushynsky University. The final games have been held in the sports hall of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation. The competitions are qualifying for the championship of Odesa region among student teams of higher education institutions.
