On December 23, 2019, an international competition was held on the Sun Island of Harbin (People's Republic of China) to mark the 7th Winter Sculpture Festival of Heilongjiang Province.

On December 18, 2019, the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council and Ushynsky University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

On December 18, 2019, students’ graduation of the Ukraine-Norway project, which is being implemented at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, took place in Biliaivka. The total number of graduates since 2014 is 470.

On December 17, 2019, Ushynsky University participated in the vocational campaign “The Cuisine of the Professions.

 December 14, 2019 ushynsky University hosted Doors Open Day of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation, which was attended by future high school students from Odesa and the region, high school students, their parents and coaches, directors of sports establishments and the chairman of the department of physical culture and sports of the Odesa city council Ruslan Olexandrovych Puzdrach.

14 грудня 2019 року в Університеті Ушинського відбувся День відчинених дверей навчально-наукового інституту фізичної культури, спорту та реабілітації, який відвідали майбутні абітурієнти із закладів загальної середньої освіти м. Одеси і області, старшокласники ДЮСШ, СДЮСШОР м. Одеси, їх батьки і тренери, директори спортивних закладів та голова управління з фізичної культури та спорту Одеської міської ради Пуздрач Руслан Олександрович.       

On December 13-14, 2019 in Zaporizhzhya the Cup of Ukraine among students in sports aerobics took place. The team included students of the educational-scientific institute of physical culture, sports and rehabilitation Maria Pilnevych (2 year) and Sofia Bundyak (1 year). Maria Pilnevych took the 3rd place. The team of cadets won the 3rd place in the Cup of Ukraine in sports aerobics.
