On November 16, 2023, the students of Ushynsky University had the opportunity to attend an extremely interesting introductory tour to the Odesa National Scientific Library, which was kindly conducted by the guide Tetiana.
During the excursion, they learned about the history of the development and structure of the library, its funds and services, as well as how to register in the library and how to search. There was also an opportunity to listen to a fascinating story about the history of the library from the time of its foundation to the construction of the modern building, which is a unique architectural monument.
The students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the collections of books of prominent figures stored in the library's collections.
Many thanks to the staff of the Odesa National Scientific Library for the opportunity to see with their own eyes how books are stored, and for an interesting, useful and meaningful excursion.
