April 22 marked the 301st anniversary of the birth of one of the world's most famous philosophers, Immanuel Kant. The 1st year students of specialty 028 Management of Socio-Cultural Activities organized an intellectual performance "Immanuel Kant: Modernity and Morality" at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities. The main biographical facts about Kant's life and his ideas, which will be of great importance as long as Homo Sapiens exists, were presented in the form of an entertaining game. The great role of Reason in the progress of mankind and the importance of categorical imperative morality were noted.
Active participation in the performance was taken by students of the 2nd-4th year of specialty 028 Management of Socio-Cultural Activities and teachers of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities. It is necessary to note the students Zagaryana Valeria, Lutsyk Yaroslava, Pozdnyaya Daria, Turyab Maryna, who demonstrated high-quality opportunities for organizing holidays. The performance was attended by the head of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, Doctor of Philosophy, Yevgen Borinshtein; the guarantor of EPP 028 Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Olena Liseienko, the guarantor of ESP 033 Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Oksana Petinova.
An important component of the intellectual performance was the exchange of views on the resistance to Russian aggression on the path to freedom, peace and humanism as the main principle of morality. The meeting ended with a friendly coffee break with the opening wishes for each participant of the performance.
