On May 16, 2025, as part of the Science Week, the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists, Postgraduate Students, Masters and Students “Current Problems of Practical Psychology” was held at Ushynsky University. The team of the psychology departments of Ushynsky University, together with foreign partners (Chisinau, Moldova; Krakow, Poland; Lithuania, Vilnius) and domestic higher education institutions (Vinnytsia, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Kharkiv), prepared interesting reports on the problems of modern practical psychology. It has already become traditional for our young psychologists to hold their own scientific forum at the end of the academic year to discuss the results of their research work. Every May, for more than 15 years, Ushynsky University has been hosting a student conference "Current Problems of Practical Psychology": initially, the conference had only a university format, for the last two years - All-Ukrainian, and already this year - the status of an International Scientific and Practical Conference.
The participants were addressed with welcoming remarks and wishes for fruitful work by Hanna MUZYCHENKO, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor; Oksana VDOVICHENKO, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanities, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor; Heads of psychological departments of Ushynsky University: Maria KAZANZHY, the Head of the Department of General and Differential Psychology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor; Iryna SAVENKOVA, Professor of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Mental Health, Doctor of Psychological Sciences; Svitlana SYTNIK, the Head of the Department of Theory and Methods of Practical Psychology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor.
The participants worked in an online format and delivered reports on solving many problems and tasks related to key issues of modern practical psychology, issues of mental health and psychological rehabilitation in modern psychology, and the main areas of work of a consulting psychologist in modern realities.
We hope that the scientific experience gained at the conference will enrich the knowledge of scientists and higher education students.
