On 0June 5-11 2025, the 19th International Festival-Competition of Children's and Youth Creativity "CONSTELLATION OF THE SEA - SUN, YOUTH, BEAUTY" was held in Greece on the island of Euboea, in the town of Loutra Edipsou. This competition is traditionally held within the framework of the International Festival Project "CONSTELLATION" under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the Odessa City Council, the mayor's offices of the cities of European countries where it is held.
In June 2025, the festival project was held on the magnificent Greek island of Euboea.
Higher education students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography of all levels participated:
Den Kaiyuy - a student of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, teacher - Professor O.E. Rebrova;
Xiao Yufei is a second (master's) level higher education student, lecturer - Associate Professor M.G. Demidova;
Wu Yuyuye is a third (educational and scientific) level higher education student, lecturer and scientific supervisor Professor N.K. Bilova.
The students participated in the project on the basis of the academic mobility program, which is provided for by the Agreement with the Charitable Foundation "Barvinok International Charitable Foundation for the Support and Development of Children's Creativity", which is the founder of the festival project. Within the framework of academic mobility, the applicants gained experience in organizing festivals-competitions, developing criteria for evaluating competition programs, performing experience in non-academic conditions, at open venues, and attended a master class on directing gala concerts and performing skills.
The performance of our applicants was highly appreciated by the jury members. In their nominations, they received awards: "GOLD CONSTELLATION" and entered the group of winners, taking 1st place.
Also, as part of the project, they visited the city of ancient Greece - Athens, visited the Athens Music Academy and got acquainted with the monuments of architecture: Acropolis and Parthenon, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Dionysian Theater, Plaka, Agora (Ancient and Roman), Temple of Olympian Zeus, Panathenaic (Kallimarmaro).
