Management theory is important, but how does it actually work? To find the answer, today, November 12, master's students of the EPP "Preschool Education. Management of a Preschool Educational Institution" went on an off-site practical session. As part of the discipline of the same name, they were hospitably hosted by Odesa PEI No. 228.

The practical session was conducted by the director, Olha Stanislavivna Kyrychenko. She is a well-known leader among preschool educators, who has over 16 years of management experience, so the master's students had a lot to ask about.

It would seem that documents are not the most interesting part of the job? Only not when you are learning to manage an institution. The meeting was held in an interactive format. Working in pairs and mini-groups, students performed analytical tasks and worked in detail on various groups of documents that a manager deals with every day: from the Charter of the Kindergarten and internal regulations to job instructions and orders. Olha Stanislavivna shared practical advice and focused on how important it is to flawlessly draw up an information and analytical group of documents (acts, certificates, protocols, official letters) in accordance with current requirements.

Future managers also had the opportunity to look into the specifics of personnel issues, in particular, how to properly maintain work books and personal files. Separately, they focused on documents for recording children - attendance logs and a book of accounts.

According to the reviews of the master's degree students themselves, the most valuable was the opportunity to work with real documents and directly communicate with a practicing manager about the daily challenges in organizing the work of a kindergarten. This is exactly the experience that increases motivation and gives a clear understanding of the chosen profession.
