September 18-20, 2018, a conference on the implementation of the international NATO project NanEOS was held on the basis of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky. The working group of the project from Ushynsky University is headed by Professor of the Department of Physics, Head of the Center for Innovative Technologies, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences V.V. Golovanov. Foreign scientists from Brescia University (Italy), Mrs. Camilla Barrato, and Professor of Technology Engineering University of Tampere (Finland), Mykola Tkachenko, have attended the conference.

Within the forum, foreign participants have had a working meeting with the Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician O. Ya. Chebykin, during which the scientific aspects of project tasks have been discussed, as well as outlined prospects of the cooperation between higher education institutions acting as partners.
