September 27-29, 2019 in Chornpmorsk, Odesa region, there was held the competition for men and women in sports and combat sambo. The competition has been attended by over 300 athletes from 20 regions. For the first time since the Independence of our country, Odesa has taken on the national adult sambo championship!

The winner in the 52 kg weight category of combat sambo is Denys Artemchuk, a 4th year student of Ushynsky University. The third place has been taken by Sergiy Naumov, a 4th year student of Ushynsky University (among men in weight category up to 74 kg).
