On December 23, 2019, an international competition was held on the Sun Island of Harbin (People's Republic of China) to mark the 7th Winter Sculpture Festival of Heilongjiang Province. Yuliya Stoyanova, a student of the linguocultural training program at the Confucius Institute Educational and Cultural Center of the State Institution “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky”, took the 2nd place with the sculpture “The octopus on the Seabed” sculpture.
