On March 10, 2021, the Chinese Bridge International Competition was held remotely, in which a student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Zakopailo Darya, took part.

The competition was held by its official organizer in China. The purpose of the competition is to unite friends from all over the world who love the Chinese language, to demonstrate understanding and respect for Chinese culture. A total of 119 works were submitted to the event, which presented 198 participants from 52 countries and 64 colleges and universities. After consideration and selection by the organizing committee, they were evaluated by professional judges. As a result, 16 outstanding works were awarded, which received, respectively, the first, second and third prizes, as well as the prize "Excellent Style".

Our student presented a video of the monologue in Chinese, in which she told about her memories of holding a traditional Chinese evening at the Confucius Institute before the Coronavirus-2019 pandemic. The student paid a lot of attention to the second part of the video. This year, the year of the Metal Bull, Darya took part in an event at the Odesa Specialized School № 117, where students demonstrated their creative abilities and talents in the Chinese style. This is what impressed the jury, which awarded Zakopailo Darya the "Outstanding Style" diploma for creativity, diligence, natural talents and knowledge of Chinese culture.
