On April 2, 2021, the library of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" held a webinar on "Course work (project) without academic plagiarism (acquaintance with the new similarity report)."
The speaker was Valentyna Vizniuk, PhD in Pedagogy, Director of the Library of Ushynsky University, who demonstrated real cases on the practice of checking student work for signs of academic plagiarism.
Also, the academic community of Ushynsky University got acquainted with the new similarity report of the technical inspection by the Strikeplagiarism system, features of individual verification, interpretation of the similarity report and received practical advice on preventing academic plagiarism.
Applicants for higher education and teachers provided questions on the interpretation of the identified matches in the texts, as well as discussed the experience of previous inspections of the work for signs of academic plagiarism.
