On April 8-9, 2021, the second stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the fields of knowledge and specialties was held remotely in Lviv.

Kukovynets Yulia Serhiivna, a student of the 4-th year of study, Faculty of Foreign languages, took part in the competition and won in the nomination "Translation". Yulia presented a scientific paper on the topic "Transfer of the comic effect during the translation of works of art (based on the work of Alan Olexander Milne's" Winnie the Pooh and his friends "). Vladyslava Yevhenivna Akkurt, PhD in Philology, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Ushynsky University, acted as the scientific supervisor.
