Every year, on the third Thursday of November, according to UNESCO regulations, World Philosophy Day is celebrated. In 2024, the celebration took place on November 21, and at the initiative of the applicants, various philosophical events were held for several more weeks.

On December 6-7, in the virtual space of Ushynsky University, with the support of the Department of Ukrainian Philology and Methods of Teaching Professional Disciplines, an anniversary scientific and practical conference of young scientists “Linguistics and Linguistics: Achievements and Development Prospects” was held, dedicated to the memory of the first head of the department, Doctor of Philology, Professor V.P. Drozdovsky (1926-1994).

On December 5, 2024, an expanded meeting of the Education Quality Commission of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Informatics and Management was held, to which guarantors of educational and professional programs in specialties 014.08 Secondary Education (Physics and Astronomy), 014.04 Secondary Education (Mathematics), 014.09 Secondary Education (Informatics), 014.15 Secondary Education (Natural Sciences) were invited.

On 05.12.2024, at the Kostyantyn Dmytrovych Ushynskyi South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University, a career orientation was held for students of grades 9-11 from Odessa Lyceum No. 8 at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

On December 5, 2024, a charity concert of students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography, Ushynsky University “WE ARE THE WORLD” was held at the UNION International Cultural Center.

On December 4, 2024, at the Faculty of Music and Choreography, within the framework of the “Guest Lecturer” program for postgraduate and undergraduate students, a meeting with Associate Professor Wang Chen, the Dean of the Conservatory of Dalian University of Technology was held. The topic of the lecture was “Research on teaching bel canto style in colleges and universities in China: a scientific approach”.

On November 25 and 29, representatives of the Department of Professional and Public Communications held career orientation meetings with high school students at Odessa Lyceums No. 60 and No. 28.
