In Kamyanets (Dnipropetrovska region), the final competitions of the XIVth Summer Ukrainian Universiade of Ukraine in swimming in 2019 took place. The overall management of the organization and holding of competitions is carried out by the Committee on Physical Education and Sport of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Swimming Federation.

Odesa region has been represented by a team of Ushynsky University, which is formed from the students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation: Master of Sport Tkachenko Daria, Master of Sport of the international class Grygoriev Ivan, Candidate for Master of Sport Savchak Victoria, Master of Sport of the international class Strilets Ivan, Master of Sport Pascal Andrii, Master of Sport Kompaniyets Kyryl, Candidate for Master of Sport Melishkevych Hanna, Candidate for Master of Sport Zheleznyak Kateryna.

At the Universiade competitions the team of Ushynsky University has taken 3 team positions.
