On December 10, 2020, a press conference was held by the teachers of the Faculty of Art and Graphics of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky at the Odessa Media news agency, during which the history, achievements and prospects of further development of the real center of art education in Odessa were presented.
Traditionally, on December 10 Human Rights Day is celebrated worldwide. The teachers of the Department of Political Science and Law, the students majoring in 081 Law and 052 Political Science are not the first to join this holiday. This year the department organized a round table "I have the right!", where the students presented presentations on current topics on human rights in Ukraine and the world.

On December 4, 2020, the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, Academician Olexii Yakovych Chebykin, met with the leadership of the student council and representatives of the student body of institutes and faculties.
On December 4-6, 2020, an international seminar "Liberation from Addiction: An Existential Approach" was held online at the Center for Medical and Psychological Rehabilitation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky.
The training was conducted by Professor Simon du Plock from the University of Middlesex (London, UK). The seminar was attended by students, graduate students of Ushynsky University, as well as practical psychologists, addictologists from Poland, Great Britain and Ukraine.
On December 3, 2020, the library of Ushynsky University, held a webinar "Academic integrity is must have for a postgraduate student" for postgraduate students of the first year of distance learning The event was organized by Tatiana Koycheva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy. The speaker of the webinar was Valentyna Vizniuk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Director of the Library. Postgraduate students were acquainted with the issues of academic integrity at Ushynsky University, ways to prevent academic plagiarism, the peculiarities of technical testing of scientific papers for the presence of textual borrowings.
On December 2, 2020, on the eve of the winter session and the defense of master's theses, the library of Ushynsky University held an online workshop on technical verification of textual borrowings in students' written works for system operators and supervisors. The participants were introduced to the mechanisms and indicators of the Strikeplagiarism system and the procedure for checking written works at Ushynsky University. The speaker of the webinar, the director of the library, the candidate of pedagogical sciences Valentyna Vizniuk invited the participants to consider the cases on the issues of technical inspection.
December 1 is World AIDS Day and understanding with HIV-positive people. "Who is warned - is protected" - under this slogan in early December 2020 at the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology of Ushynsky University was an educational event "HIV / AIDS - all that is important to know", which was prepared by students of 3 years of study: Ye. Volovina, T. Dyulger, V. Zayonchkovska, A. Palosh under the guidance of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor O.A. Listopad, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor I.K. Mardarova. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Psychology, Associate Professor O. Yu. Bulgakova, Deputy Dean for Educational Work, Ph.D., senior teacher A.I. Prosenyuk, the students of the first-third years of study.
