November 14, 2018, Ushynsky University hosted the 1st round of the amateur arts competition dedicated to the International Students' Day, "Student Autumn". Students of all faculties of the university attended this creative talent forum.
On the final day on the Swimming Cup of Ukraine, a student of the 4th year of training at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sport and Rehab, Ivan Striletz has won the 100 meter bras with a result of 1.00.76 min. Also, our athlete has won the third place on a distance of 50 meters with a result of 0.28.30 min. Congratulations to our champion!
On the Cup of Ukraine in swimming, which took place in Kremenchug on November 7-9, 2018, the student of the 4th year of training at the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, the sports master of Ukraine Ivan Strilets won the first place in swimming at a distance of 200 meters with a breaststroke. Our student has crossed the distance in 2 minutes 11.12 seconds! Congratulations to the winner with a wonderful result!
November 9-10, with the support of the Ambasadors Club of Prague and the European Association of Folk Festivals in Prague (Czech Republic), Autumn Tale 2018 International Festival of Contest of Arts was held. The winner of the First Prize in two nominations "Instrumental genre" and "Concertmaster" is the student of the Faculty of Music and Choreography Tetyana Kozlova (class of associate professor Gorozhankina O.Yu.).

The Faculty of Philology celebrated the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, which took place on November 9, 2018. The students were greeted the acting dean Sokal Maria Anatoliivna, the deputy dean Oksana Borysivna Petinova, the lecturers of the departments of Ukrainian philology and teaching methods for professional disciplines and Slavic linguistics.
On the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, November 9, 2018, all those who wished could write a radio dictation of national unity. One of the locations in Odesa for writing the 18th radio dictation was the library of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky". A live radio broadcast of the First Channel "UA: Ukrainian Radio" took place in the library's premises. Students, lecturers and specialists of the university have joined the writing. Reading room was crowded with those who were eager to test their literacy.
November 9, 2018, the students of the specialties "Law" and "Political Science" of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky took part in the All-Ukrainian Radio Detection of National Unity on the Day of Ukrainian Language and Writing. This is not just a means to test your own literacy and language skills, but also a large-scale flash mob that has united and rallied students from all over Ukraine. Language is a treasure of our people, this is what lives in our hearts.
November 8, 2018, a scientific-methodical seminar on the topic "Possibilities of the Web of Science platform for qualitative research and teaching" was held in the library of the State institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.
