December 4, 2018, the Department of Political Sciences and Law for the students of the specialties 081 “Law” and 052 “Political Sciences” held an informational and educational event entitled "Legal principles of guaranteeing and protecting human rights in modern Ukraine", dedicated to International Human Rights Day. The university students have prepared information on the main international standards of human and civil rights and freedoms, as well as mechanisms for their protection in the conditions of national states, in particular in Ukraine.

December 3-4, 2018, the Head of the Department of Biology and Public Health of the Ushynsky University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences A.I. Bosenko paid a working visit to Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

November 30, 2018, the lecturers of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration held a series of meetings with graduates of the educational institutions of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky and presented them a new specialty "Public Management and Administration".

November 30, 2018, senior students of the city of Odesa were hosted at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after        K. D. Ushynsky.

November 24-25 in the premises of the school named after Professor Stolyarsky the city festival-contest of academic singing "Odesa’s bel canto" took place. The jury of the festival-contest included well-known leading masters of vocal academic art. The People's Artist of Ukraine professor G. A. Polivanova headed the jury, she is also the head of the department of solo singing at the Odesa National A.V. Nezhdanova Musical Academy.

November 22, 2018, in order to form and develop the managerial competence of future managers of education in the specialty 073 "Management" by the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, a visiting seminar "Management of pre-school institutions: problems and perspectives " was held on the base of Odesa pre-school educational institution " Nursery-kindergarten" № 304 of the Odesa city council in Odesa region.

November 22, 2018, in Bilhorod-Dnistovsky, Odesa region, a vocational guidance session was conducted on the basis of the pedagogical school - a presentation of the Faculty of Music and Choreography of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky. Associate professor O.Yu. Gorozhankina introduced the entrants with the specialties on which the students are trained, the peculiarities of educational and creative work at the faculty, the rules of admission to the university. The graduates of the college and students received detailed information about the benefits of studying at Ushynsky University, acquainted with the powerful scientific potential, prospects of employment after graduating from the Faculty of Music and Choreography.
